Stambridge Parish Council:

What does the Council do?

The parish council has an overall responsibility for the well-being of its local community. Its work falls into three main categories:

  • representing the local community
  • delivering services to meet local needs
  • striving to improve quality of life in the parish

 A Parish Council might provide and/or maintain some of the following services:

  • allotments
  • play areas
  • community transport schemes
  • footpaths
  • bridleways
  • bus shelters
  • crime reduction measures
  • leisure facilities

When does it meet?

Stambridge Parish Council usually meets on a DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED  every month except August..        

The date is shown on this website (under Events) and on the Stambridge Community Facebook page.

There are NO Meetings in August as this is the Recess period.

All members of the public are welcome to come along and and observe and, on some items, can take part in the meeting.

The meetings take place at Stambridge Memorial Hall, in Stambridge Road, at 7.30pm.
