Local councils
Stephen was elected as a Chelmsford Borough Councillor for Patching Hall ward on 5th May 2011.
He was elected as a Parish Councillor in Writtle (Chelmsford Borough) in 2002 and re-elected in 2003 and 2007. He previously served on Essex County Council and Epping Forest District Council.
