Sturmer Parish Council comprises of voluntary elected or co-opted Members who have taken up a civic office with a view to making a real difference to the community they serve.  The Council is a corporate body that can play a vital part in improving the quality of life for people and the local environment.  The Council provides services to maintain areas such as the pocket park, amenity walk, Sturmer Common and the war memorial.  It will comment of planning issues to the District Council and maintain street lighting, as well as working closely with other community groups.  These are some of the issues that concern parish government.  It holds public meetings every 5 or 6 weeks in the Village Hall at 7.30 p.m. - further details can be found at the link below (website under construction)
