Weblog Archive

What is RSS?

RSS is a web format used by news, websites, weblogs etc that allow you to subscribe to RSS feeds, these are typically sites that change or add content regularly. RSS subscriptions are free, but they typically only give you a line or two of each article or post along with a link to the full article or post.

See how it works

To demonstrate the use and power of RSS newsfeeds a selction from various sources (eGov Monitor, Publictechnology.net, National Statistics, Guardian Jobs, BBC) have been placed on the Test Community site in the NewsFeeds folder.

Take a look and see how your community could benefit from RSS Newsfeeds

It's a fine balance when you choose to work from home, most people get more done but work longer hours than when they're in the office - so beware!

How can you get your community to work together as a team and have fun?
  • Try a BBQ night with the kids
  • Arrange group outings
  • Help with each others problems
  • Reward good service
  • Praise the poeple
Don't miss it - be a part of it!
