Election News

Only 8 candidates stood for election in May and all were therefore elected.

To be eligible to be a councillor you need to live in or within 3 miles of the parish and have lived there for at least 1 year.

Our District Councillors are  Rosemary Heaney from Great Bromley and Peter Scott who lives on the Frating and Great Bromley border.

We should be proud that 59% of the electorate voted in the elections in our ward.

The next election will be in May 2011.
