The Wickford & District Talking Newspaper records and sends out local News tapes every week, totally free, with articles taken from our local Newspapers to people who are visually impaired. The news recorded covers Wickford, Billericay, South Woodham Ferrers, Basildon and surrounding areas.
We also send out a monthly magazine tape “Insight” and a monthly information tape, “The Informant”.
Would YOU - or someone you know - like to receive an audio News tape? You don't have to be resident in the Wickford or Basildon area - several of our listeners are people who have moved out of the Essex area but still like to receive the local news.
