Community Grants

The Wrabness Parish Council grant scheme supports Wrabness community charitable or not for profit organisations to enhance village life at Wrabness. The Parish Council sets a grants budget each year and determines applications for grants on their merits. Parish Council grants have been awarded to a range of Wrabness village organisations:

Village Hall, Community Shop, Playing Field Association, All Saints Church, Womens institute and Badminton Club.

Please note grants cannot be awarded to support an individual or commercial business.

Two types of grant are available:

Grants to improve a community facility or support a community activity. To view Community Organisation Grant guidance notes click here

Grant Applications must be submitted to the Parish Clerk :

by post at:         2, Fredricks Close, Wix, Manningtree, CO11 2AY

or by email:

Applications will be determined on their merits by the Parish Council and the applicant will be notified of the outcome. Once the allocated grants budget has been spent no further grants will be awarded until the next financial year. Please note the funds the Parish Council can make available for grants to other organisations are limited by law.
