Christmas and New Year Revised Collection Dates
During the Christmas and New Year bank holiday period, collections will be delayed. Please see the below table for the revied Wrabness collection days. With Christmas comes extra waste and recycling so, to help you, householders will be able to place a maximum of 2 black bags by the side of your wheelie bin for collection. This will only be for your first scheduled wheelie bin collection following Christmas Day after which any unauthorised side waste will not be collected.
|Normal Collection Day||Revised Collection Day|
|Thursday 26th December||Saturday 28th December|
|Thursday 2nd January||Saturday 4th January|
|Thursday 9th January||Friday 10th January|
Please note that normal Thursday collections resume on week beginning Monday 13th January 2020.
Tendring District Council supply households with red and green recycling boxes, plus small and large food waste caddies to encourage the recycling of waste. They ask that recyclable household waste is separated out from the black sack refuse to reduce the amount of rubbish going to land fill. To check what type of waste will be collected for recycling - click on the boxes:
Food waste is collected weekly, the contents of the red and green boxes are collected alternate weeks. To check the recycling timetable click here
