Schools and Education

Both our Infant and Junior Schools are rated by Ofsted as good and attract children from far and wide with almost 50% coming from out of catchment area.   Fortunately most local children secure a place but sometimes there are problems.

The proposed Warren Farm 800 dwelling housing development includes a new primary school and a 56 place nursery, if the housing goes ahead when would the school and nursery be built, on day one or only after the last of the 800 houses is complete?   If the development is not managed sensibly, any increase in housing will affect our current schools until the new school is open.
