Aythorpe Roding windmill  -  A large, 18th-century post mill. 

 Aythorpe Roding Windmill is the biggest post mill surviving in Essex

It has four patent sails, a fantail on the steps and two pairs of millstones.

It is hoped that after repairs that may be carried out in the coming years the Windmill will again be open to the public.

Windmill Teas are available in the Village Hall on on the last Sunday of the month up to and including September 2015  from 2 - 4.30 p.m at Aythorpe Roding Village Hall
