Essex has one of the longest coastlines of any county in England. And, at more than 350 miles long there are tons of unique features to explore, experience and enjoy.

Dubbed the 'Discovery Coast', the Visit Essex team is working with local businesses to encourage residents and visitors to discover the diverse wonders and attractions of our shoreline.

These include eight Blue Flag beaches, coastal art galleries and the longest pleasure pier in the world at Southend.
