A news page can be an alternative to a weblog (online diary). You can add news about:
- events in your area
- things you have done
- news from your authority where it effects your local area
- News can be a mixture personal items and more 'official news' or maybe commenting on a 'hot topic' in your area.
- Adding photos will encourage people to look at your site

Saturday 1st July 2006: Church Summer Fete.
'I was lucky enough to be invited to the Church annual summer fete and Flower and Produce Show. The standard of entries were very high this year and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves. The Morris Men deserved their refreshment after putting on such a lively display on such a hot afternoon.
