is Closing

EssexInfo has been providing free websites for voluntary, community and not-for-profit groups since 2005, but ECC have regretfully concluded that the service is no longer viable, and have decided that will close on 31st March 2020.  Following this decision, Dedham Parish Council has had to look for an alternative provider.  OneSuffolk is now providing a website facility for Dedham Parish Council.  The new site is now live and our existing domain points to the new site.

Village Defribillators.

We are now fortunate to have two defibrillators in the village.  One is located beside the Craft Centre, with thanks to the East of England Co-op for providing this equipment along with the support of the parish council.  It is available to the general public 24/7, 365 days a year. If you need to access it at any time, please follow the instructions on the box, which requires you to ring 999. They will give you a code to unlock the box, unlock the box, as well as sending an ambulance for assistance.  The second is located within the Sports Pavilion on the Duchy Field, obtained through Dedham Old Boys Football Club with help from the Essex and Suffolk Border League.  This can be used by anyone using or hiring the Sports Pavilion during village sports events.  Using the defibrillators does not require medical training and are designed for use by the general public in case of emergency.   For more information contact Kate Sambrook at
