 Letter accompanying the Housing Survey

If you live in East Hanningfield Parish you should have received this letter with an accompanying housing needs survey and a return envelope so that you could send the completed form direct to the Housing Enabler, Laura Atkinson, at the Rural Community Council of Essex, Threshelfords Business Park, Feering. For your own security, please ensure that your form containing personal information does not go anywhere else.

If you did not need to fill in and return the form, there was a box in the shop for unwanted forms, so that families who needed more than one form or people working in East Hanningfield could pick one up.

It is very important that everyone living or working here who needs affordable accommodation/housing in East Hanningfield now or within the next five years sent in their details, so that the right mix of housing can be provided.

Family members who have had to move away, people who need a family carer to move nearer, carers who want to bring elderly relatives nearer, people who need to downsize should all have completed this survey, because it applies to you.

The Parish Council is aware that the number of responses to the survey did not reflect the known need for affordable accommodation in the village, so there was a second chance to respond to the survey for those who missed it last year. It is essential that everyone who needs an affordable home here submits their details so that the right number and type of homes are built. There was no need to complete the form again if you did so in Autumn 2018. The extended survey period ended on 23rd. April. An extra 25 responses were received, which will influence the number and type of affordable housing provided in East Hanningfield.
