Gestingthorpe Parish Council

Gestingthorpe Parish Council official website giving council and general village information.

The Parish Council is the most local tier of local government.

It is a secular body with no connection to the local Church, which has its "Parochial Church Council"

As well Parish Council proceedings and links to other tiers of government, this site gives information on local organisations, services facilities and emergency procedures.

THE PARISH COUNCIL AGM MEETING IS ON THURSDAY 3RD MAY, 7.30PM AT THE VILLAGE HALL

We are there. Enough people have signed up for Fibre Optic Broadband for County Broadband to commit to providing 1000Mb/s Broadband (with cheaper options starting at 30 Mb/s).

That is about 500 times faster than is available via landline (phone line) at the top of the village and 2000 times faster than at available the bottom.  Internet telephone is available too.

The offer of free installation for those who commit by the end of March, has been extended to the 14th of April.

Go to   www.gestingthorpefibre.org to get yourself included.

Please make sure you complete the full process and receive a confirmation copy of your order by the end of the 14th of April to be sure of free connection.
