Mobile Library Service for High Garrett

High Garrett is served fortnightly by the Halstead library van. The van visits on a Thursday morning, stopping at Sunnyfields Road 09.10 to 09.25 and Lyons Hall 09.30 to 09.45.

As well as carrying a good selection of material, items reserved using the on-line service are usually available for pick up on the next scheduled visit.

There are no restriction on the use of this service for the residents of High Garrett, the only requirement is a current library card. For those not yet registered an on-line facility is available to apply; or just pop into a library when next passing.

I have personally used this service for quite some time. The fact that you can search and reserve all the items held at libraries throughout Essex from the comfort of your own home and then have them brought virtually to your door, is a truly exceptional service offered by Essex County Council.
