Parish Assembly Minutes 2009

The Annual Parish Assembly of Highwood was held on Tuesday 12^th May 2009 at 7pm in the Main Hall Highwood Primary School Highwood.

2          Approval of Minutes for 15^th April 2008

            Minutes approved from last years Annual Assembly.

 

3          Chairman’s Report

            The Chairman’s report is shown on Appendix One.

 

4          Guest Speaker – Mr Brian Ross from Stop Stansted Expansion Campaign

The Assembly was addressed by Brian Ross who gave an informative talk about the campaign, what they are hoping to achieve and the impact a second runway could have within a 15 mile radius of Stansted. It became apparent that they are not against Stansted airport as it stands, but against it expanding with a second runway.

 

5          Format for 2010 Annual Assembly

It was provisionally agreed that the 2010 Annual Assembly would be held on Tuesday 11^th May 2010 at 7pm.

 

 

 

 

There being no further items to be discussed the Chairman closed the meeting at 7.47pm.
