ANNUAL PARISH ASSEMBLY

Minutes of the Annual Parish Assembly held at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 14 May 2014 in the Village Hall

Chairman:            Cllr D Cameron

Also present:            Parish councillors T Horsnell, P Latham, D Merriday, parish clerk L Fuller, six members of the public

1            Introduction of councillors

The Chairman welcomed the members of the public and said he felt the councillors were well known and needed no introduction.

2            Minutes of the Annual Parish Assembly 2013

The minutes of the Annual Parish Assembly held on 8 May 2013 were agreed as a correct record and signed.

3            Matters arising from the last meeting

There were no matters arising from the last meeting.

4            Report from the Chairman

The Chairman of the Council, David Cameron, reported on the council’s activities over the past year. His report is attached.

5            Questions from the public concerning matters over which the Parish Council has control or some influence

Topics discussed included cutting of grass verges, the future of the play area at Edney Common and the land at the rear of The Nest development site. A member of the public informed the meeting that following her complaint and the council’s action, there had been no more loose horses in the woods near Monks and Barrows.

The meeting closed about 7.20.
