Supporting Kids in Need

  1. Is it just big companies that support Kids in Need?

Kids in Need is fortunate that we do have the support of some big companies however we also have the support of small local companies, individuals and even parents and families of children that we have granted wishes for. Being a small charity we are greatful for ALL support that people give us.

  2. How can I support Kids in Need?

There are many ways that you can support us and not all of them involve parting with money. Below are a few examples:

    • Attend our event(s). Our events can be found on the 'Events Calendar' on the menu bar.
    • Donate goods or services that we can use.

Some of our wishes are children wanting to meet sports, music or TV personalities, other wishes have been as simple as wanting to ride in a Police car or see a theatre production. It is due to people advising us of contacts they have that can help us to grant these wishes.

Every year we hold events to raise money and we often find that we can raffle or auction goods or services that have been donated. In the past this has varied from bouquets of flowers to the helicopter rides.

Other ways you can support us is to:

    • Introduce us to friends or work colleagues that may be interested in helping our cause.
    • Introduce schemes such as agreeing with friends and family not to give Christmas cards this year and instead donate the money you would have spend on cards to a charity.
    • Donate money
    • Hold a fund raising event.
  3. What items have been donated in the past?

Goods that have been donated include: (all new and unused)

    • Unwanted, unopened Christmas presents.
