About the Club

The Loughton Stroke Club was formed over 30 years ago by members of the Loughton Baptist Church. Since then, members of other churches, and some with no church affiliation have joined the band of helpers.

The aim of the Club is to provide an informal setting with a friendly atmosphere where stroke victims, and if they wish to attend their carers, can meet for recreation and mutual support.

Some 300 people have benefitted from membership over the years.

We are affiliated to the Stroke Association and are a registered charity No. 2112015
