Fund raising for Havens Hospices
How the Hospices are Funded....
Havens Hospices, which inforporates Fair Havens Adult Hospice and Little Havens Children's Hospice, is a registered charity (Reg,Charity No. 1022119).
For the year 2011/2012, it will cost a total of £5.7 million to ensure we can continue caring for local adults, children and their families - £2.4 million for Little Havens and £3.3 million for Fair Havens and of course, these amounts continue to rise year on year.
The charity receives limited funding from Government via the local Primary Care TRusts. Therefore, they rely heavily on the generosity of their kind supporters including individuals, schools, groups, businesses and Trusts, to help us raise the funds needed.
This money is raised though many diferent ways, from regular monthly donations, fundraising events, challenges, the Havens Weekly Draw, gifts in wills and their numerous charity shops.
