Still a few places available on our FREE Beginner's Foraging Session

Saturday, 20th October 2012 , 10.30 – 12.30

Abbotts Hall Farm, Colchester

Edible Essex is teaming up with Essex Wildlife Trust for the last time this year, to offer an opportunity to learn about foraging for wild food in our countryside.

The session will involve:

  • a wild food foraging guided walk
  • cooking on an open fire and recipe suggestions
  • sampling some wild food.

The session is free and is suitable to those who have not tried foraging before. Families are very welcome, but children must be over the age of 8.

Participants should bring a plastic container and wear suitable outdoor clothing.
