Whats Happening in the Village

Community Planting Day  - Saturday 19th March  between 9am-11am, at the Village Green outside Stambridge Meadows Residential Home.

Please come along and help the Parish Council to plant 105 trees, bring gloves and a  spade - Everyone Welcome

Allotments -  These are now open and all plots have now been taken up, we do have a waiting list, so if you are interested then please contact the Clerk

Basket Ball Court / Football goals - Refurbishement has been completed and the new court is now OPEN. 

Memorial Hall  - The Kitchen and Ladies Toilets have now been refurbished, the hall will now be repainted, broken windows replaced and then the hall will be open and  ready to Hire.

Village Green - We have just been sucessful in our bid for bushes/trees which will be planted on the village green outside of Stambridge Meadows nursing home.

We hope they will enhance and transform this once neglected area into a pleasant green for the residents to sit and enjoy the countryside, we will also replemish the raised garden planters ready for spring. Pictures to come.
