Once again the weather gods were kind to us, sellers and buyers turned out in good numbers and the annual Stow Maries Car Boot Sale was a resounding success.

Of course, this couldn't have happened without the generous donation of time, effort and, in the case of John Pilgrim - equipment, from a veritable army of helpers. The Stow Maries Fund Raising Group is particularly grateful to Rob Brown of Morris Farm for the continuing use of his land in order to stage this event.

Visitors turned out in excellent numbers to make the event colourful and entertaining. Here's hoping the sellers had a profitable day and the buyers found enough bargains to make it worthwhile - so they come back next year.

All-in-all a thoroughly enjoyable day which raised over £1200 towards the upkeep of Stow Maries' Church of St Mary & St Margaret and The Smythe Hall.

See you again next year.
