The Baddow and Galleywood U3A is the local section of the UK-wide U3A - the University of the Third Age. This is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.
We are a team within the Special Educational Needs and Children with Additional Needs Service (SENCAN). We provide support and advice to families and carers of young children with additional needs.

Flitch Green Community Centre provides quality indoor sports, recreational and club facilities for the residents of Flitch Green and surrounding areas. Good Beginnings is the multi-agency Essex programme to support families who have a pre-school child with autism or social communication difficulties. Good Beginnings provides free advice, support and training by specialist staff to Essex parents and practitioners during the early years.
