Armed Forces Day Southend - Party in the Town, is a fixed annual JUNE military event, held in SOUTHEND-on-SEA to celebrate our Armed Forces. A not-for-profit voluntary organisation, soon to become a registered Trust, has been created by an AF Veteran in conjunction with Southend Borough Council, local business and designated military charities.

Marks Tey Parish Council includes of the villages of Marks Tey and Little Tey. Both are situated approximately six miles west of Colchester. The Council provides recreation facilities, including a children's playground, skateboard park, basketball court, football pitches and the Parish Hall complex. The Parish Hall is available for hire.
