Good news regarding the no 77 bus
As you may be aware, Horizon Buses will no longer be operating the 77 with effect from 21 December. Essex County Council has awarded the contract to Panther Buses to operate from then until April next year, and in the meantime the route forms part of the overall bus review and will be included in the tendering process. However to increase the commercial viability the timetable has been amended and reduced, with the morning buses into town now scheduled for 7.41 and 10.40 only, and after North Station the route no longer calls at the Turner Rise shops, but goes on to Tufnell Way. In the opposite direction some buses now serve Chisbon Heath and St Osyth. Please be aware that it will run on weekdays only. Follow the link below for the full timetable.
