Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act came into force on 1 January 2005 and covers any information held by public bodies.  The intention of the Act is to make it easy for people to get access to information.

From January 2009, all authorities must adopt a model publication scheme that has been prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner.  Flitch Green Parish Council adopted the model Publication Scheme at its first meeting held on 1 April 2009.
