The Diamond Olympic Fete 2012 - the village themed fete is returning on 30th June 2012 to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. The parish council are providing free attractions and local clubs will be joining in. If you would like to take part please contact the Clerk.
Salt - The salt in the yellow bins is for use on the public highways only. It is theft if you take it for use on your own property.
New Bins - new bins have been purchased as part of our ongoing village furniture maintenance. If you spot a broken item or notice and area in need of a new bin or seat please let us know.
CBC Mobile Customer Information Service - Will visit Gt Leighs 1-2pm every 1st Wednesday of each month and will be in the post office. CBC staff are available to help with queries along-side the parish PCSO, no need to book just drop in.
Public Transport Representative Needed - if you are a frequent user of public transport and could donate some time we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a volunteer to attend passenger transport meetings to bring back a report to the council and convey any village issues. Please contact us for more information.
