Hadstock Village Fête

Hadstock Fete Saturday 19th June 2010

The 2010 fete was held on Saturday 19th June and despite fairly awful weather, was another great success. There were stalls and attractions around the village, classic cars, cream teas and the Hadstock Silver Band performed in the church. Teddy bears risked life and limb parachuting from the top of the church tower and home made lemonade and candy floss were served in Beam Ends garden. Traditional swing boats and the Buffy Playbus provided amusement for all ages. In the evening, villagers enjoyed Joanna Eden playing live in the King's Head. The fete raised over £6000 for village charities (St Botolph's Church, the Village Hall and the Recreation Ground) and the village would like to thank the organising committee and everyone who helped make the fete such a success.
