Wednesday Shopper and Leisure Bus 89A - operates between Haverhill, Birdbrook, Ridgewell and Great Yeldham three times a day.  Connects with onwards services from Haverhill and Great Yeldham.   For timetable details, click here:  

There are two services operated by Hedingham Omnibuses.

On Thursday Service No. 1 goes to Sudbury.  This calls at 0945 opposite the Memorial and arrives in Sudbury at 1030.  The return bus leaves Sudbury bus station at 1240 and returns to Ridgewell at 1325.

There is also a Friday service 89B to Haverhill which calls adjacent to the Memorial at 0909 and arrives Haverhill at 0939.  The return service leaves Haverhill bus station at 1200 and returns to Ridgewell at 1240. 

There is a Monday-Friday service to Saffron Walden and Newport, primarily for school children.  This calls adjacent to the Memorial at 0735.
