Work to repair the A120 between Braintree and Coggeshall
We are working on behalf of Highways England to improve the A120 near you. This work will repair the road surface of the A120 at two sites – at the junction with Colne Road/B1024 (north of Coggeshall), and at the junction with Hollies Road/Bridge Hall Road between Bradwell and the A131 at Braintree.
Subject to weather conditions, we plan to complete the work at Coggeshall overnight on Monday 21 March, and the work by Bradwell overnight on Tuesday 22 March. We will be working between 20:00 and 06:00. This may result in delays for local road users and through traffic for which we apologise.
To keep road users at a safe distance from the works, we will close lanes and use traffic lights to allow drivers through.
We have written to local businesses affected by the works and we would be grateful if you would publicise the works to your parishioners through newsletters and other communications where appropriate.
We will do our utmost to complete the works as quickly as possible, avoiding disturbance and keeping noise to a minimum.

We are fast approaching the Police and Crime Commissioner election on the 5 May 2016 and I am keen to ensure that anyone who wishes to vote is registered before the PCC registration deadline of 18 April 2016.
Equally, I am sure you are aware that the Government is committed to a Referendum on the UK Membership of the EU which is to be held during 2016. Again, there will be a registration deadline, but this will be determined by the date of the Referendum so the message is “Register early to avoid Disappointment”.
Paying Council Tax does NOT mean you are on the Electroral Register.
If you have your Ntional Insurnce number and date of birth, it's simple to register and takes less than 3 minutes.
