JOINING UP

Applications for membership are welcomed from families attending a feeder primary school for SWCHS or pupil's of SWCHS.  
IN ADDITION TO COMPLETING AN APPLICATION FORM AND PAYING THE MEMBERSHIP FEE (£60 per family, £45 single parent household, £30 income support),
ALL MEMBERS MUST SIGN UP TO A ROTA FOR SEVERAL SESSIONS OF SITTINGS POOLSIDE. Members must also sign a copy of the rules.  

Joining up night has taken place for 2010. Spaces currently available are updated on the home page.

The rota has been filled and remaining gaps will be allocated to any new members. It will be published early June. 

Application forms are available to print out from this website, or collected from SWTourist IC, the library and tfrom outside 60 Debden Road.

Sorry, there is no online or telephone booking system. Application is by mail (or hand delivered) to the address on the form. 

We cannot offer refunds due to malfunction, bad weather or any other matter beyond our control.

Members must agree to abide by the rules (see rules) and must read and understand what is required of them as a supervisor (see supervising duties).

APPLYING in advance. (This option now closed)
The form must be printed off/collected and taken/posted to the address on the form. There are advantages in APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP IN ADVANCE, as it will almost certainly secure you a place in this popular club, however you must still come on 11th May to sign up to the rota, entry from 8pm for those who sent their applications in advance and 8.30pm for everyone else!
If you do not come to the meeting, but still wish to join, you will be allocated 2 random dates after the meeting. If you cannot attend you may send a representative but they must sign up to the rota on your behalf and your tickets will not be released until you have signed a copy of the rules. Rota is made available first come first served, bring your diary. Your membership tickets will be issued on the evening if you attend in person. 

APPLYING at the signing up evenings (this option now closed)
Apply at our signing up evening (11th May) at the Sports Centre at SWCHS, places are not guaranteed, but are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis'. Please bring a completed application form (also available on the evening), your cheque book and your diary. Access to the rota is in the order of arrival and after those who have already submitted their forms. Your membership tickets will be issued on the evening. You may send a representative to sign for your duties, but you must sign the rules in person before you receive your tickets - usually poolside, when the club opens in June.

APPLYING after signing up night (A FEW SPACES NOW AVAILABLE) 
You may apply for membership until we have reached capacity. Capacity will be indicated on the home page of this website.

In the first instance contact Jo Walter - by email -  jowalter@ntlworld.com, she will email you 2 dates for your supervising sessions, if you accept these dates you can hand your application form into 60 Debden Road, your application will be not be accepted without the supervisor dates. When your form is processed your cards will be left at the pool. Please collect a copy of the rules with your application form (copies of the rules are only available at 60 Debden Rd), sign them and return them with the form.

LIMITED MEMBERSHIP - for the holidays only - During the quieter months in the summer, whilst some families are away, there are places available allowing use of the pool for the school holiday period only (state school term dates). If all the FULL memberships have been taken up you may be interested in this limited membership. The cost is £45. There are no sitting requirements. You cannot swim in June or before the holidays in July but you may swim in September and the school holidays. Contact Jo Walter as above.
