Making the links Concordat
On 13 February 2008, Lord Hanningfield, Leader of Essex County Council and Cllr John Buchanan, Chairman of the Essex Association of Local Councils signed the Making the Links Concordat.
The signing and reception was held at the House of Lords and attended by nearly all of Essex's Quality councils. The Chairman, Cllr Betty Bright and Clerk, Angie Balcombe attended on behalf of White Notley and Faulkbourne Parish Council.
The Concordat sets out the shared commitment of parish and town councils and Essex County Council to ensure that local communities can influence what happens in their locality.

The Braintree District
Parish Partnership Agreement
White Notley and Faulkbourne Parish Council signed Part 1 of the Parish Partnership Agreement in March 2006. The Agreement reflects the increasing importance of partnership working and supports the development of Quality status for parish and town councils.
