Billericay Sports "C" and BAE "B" completed their matches for the season but it was no happy ending for the home side as they were soundly beaten 1 - 9 by the visitors - Colin Clements and Gary Hhartgrove were unbeaten with Alby Warner winning twice - his defeat coming at the hands of Robert Kemp playing his first match of the season for the Sport's side - Mick Joslin and Brian Wellman did their best to stem the flow and took several games to four ends but the difference between the two teams was seen in the final result - although it must be said that the home side were weakened by holidays and were without their number one Mike Johnston.
