Kids in Need - Charity Registration No: 1049318

Kids in Need is a registered charity which, through donations and fund raising, grants "wishes" to young people aged 3 to 19 who are terminally / seriously ill or who suffer from multiple disabilities.
The "wishes" vary enormously and range meeting personalities from the worlds of entertainment and sport; sponsoring holidays; purchasing toys and learning aids that have been adapted to a child's needs; and providing sensory equipment. Some childrens' wishes are unique such as a ride in a helicopter, an army tank or Ferrari or being a princess for the day.

In order to fund these wishes the committee, who are all volunteers and receive no remuneration, organise fund raising events throughout the year.

We are a small group of voluntary people who raise funds to grant wishes through sponsorships and fundraising. We do not have a head office so we do not have major overheads which in turn means that all the funds we raise goes towards bringing a smile to these children.

Upcoming Event

10 mile sponsored Walk

 

Our Annual Sponsored Walk will take place in Southend on Sunday 5th July. The route is made up of a 2.5mile circuit along the seafront so for anyone that wants to take the challenge to complete all 10 miles, will need to complete 4 laps.

Food and drink will be provided for all walkers as well as a Kids in Need t-shirt.

If you don't want to attempt the walk but would like to support us, please feel free to join us on the grass section next to Rossi's.

Please let us know if you do want to walk so we can make sure that we allocate enough food as well as send you a sponsorship form.
