Armed Forces Day Southend - Party in the Town, is a fixed annual JUNE military event, held in SOUTHEND-on-SEA to celebrate our Armed Forces. A not-for-profit voluntary organisation, soon to become a registered Trust, has been created by an AF Veteran in conjunction with Southend Borough Council, local business and designated military charities.

The Basildon and Billericay French Circle organises meetings and activities for people interested in French language, culture, and people. The Chelmsford German Circle has been in existence since September 1990. It meets on the first floor of the Moulsham Mill, Parkway Chelmsford at 8:00 p.m. on the third Thursday in the month. Meetings are mostly conducted in the German language. They're informal and include films, guest speakers, quizzes and other social events.

Harmonie is Rayleigh based windband which performs around ten concerts per years, many in aid of local charities. We have a wide repertoire with something to suit most tastes. If you play a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument why not join us! We rehearse on a Wednesday night and there are no auditions.

WEA Ilford Branch is a lively branch offering five daytime and evening classes in Gants Hill for adults in Ilford and surrounding areas (including Essex), tutored by highly qualified and experienced tutors. The branch has an annual coach trip, study weekend and social events. All our venues are served by good transport links.
