Armed Forces Day Southend - Party in the Town, is a fixed annual JUNE military event, held in SOUTHEND-on-SEA to celebrate our Armed Forces. A not-for-profit voluntary organisation, soon to become a registered Trust, has been created by an AF Veteran in conjunction with Southend Borough Council, local business and designated military charities.

Barnston Village Hall is the community centre for Barnston Essex and surrounding area. We are run as a charity hall providing a space for community groups and others to socialize and get together. We have many groups who use the hall regularly and welcome new members.

The Bradwell-on-Sea Flower Show is a yearly event that takes place in August at the Village Hall. The event provides the opportunity for the community to show, Flower arranging, Cut Flowers, Vegetables, Cookery, Handicraft, Photography and Art in both children’s and adult’s classes.
