Kelvedon

Kelvedon is a village in Essex. We have good communications,  as we are on the A12 and the main Liverpool Street to Norwich railway line. Whilst still a rural community we have many residents who commute to London. We have a very good primary school, the High Street  has a good range of shops, many clubs and Society's are based in the village, making for a good community spirit.

Kelvedon is well known to gardeners for the many plants with Kelvedon in their name, through much of the 20th century seed growing and development was a major part of the area, today we have Kings seeds still in the village.

Today Kelvedon is well known for the Kelvedon free festival.

Kelvedon also has  Strong youth involvement we have a thriving Youth Forum.

Horticulturaly we have a thriving Garden club and 2 sets of Allotments.
