what we do

   Kelvedon in Bloom is a voluntary organisation that tries to make the environment of Kelvedon a more pleasant place.

   We own a great many planters dotted around the village that are planted with seasonal plants for the different times of year, we also, in partnership with Kelvedon Parish Council plant summer planters along the High Street.

  We have gradually increased the amount of permanent flower beds that are in the village from Bobs Bed at the south end of London Rd to Pensioners Piece at the North end of the High Street.

     We could not achieve these aims without the support of our army of volunteers that tidy and litter pick and those that adopt a tub or planter and water for us, together with the partnerships we have forged with other organizations such as the Brownies and our preschool.

We are funded by Kelvedon Parish Council and donations, with various fund raising events through the year.
