Playing Fields
 
  The Parish Council owns and maintains two playing fields, Paradise Road and the Pleasure Bit in Oxney Green, both contain areas of play equipment for children. The Paradise Road Sports Field has Football Pitches, a cricket pitch, tennis courts (run and operated by the Writtle Tennis Club) and a hard play area that can be used for tennis, 5-a-side football and netball. This multi-purpose play area can be booked through Anne Lockhart on 01245 420993 who will give details of charges, terms etc.
 
Allotments
 
  The Council has two allotment areas, Oxney Green and The Chase and both have vacancies. The 2005/2006 chargesfor allotments are £12 per plot and £6.00 per half plot, pensioners have a 50% discount on their first plot. Please contact the Parish Clerk (01245 420066) for further information.
