Armed Forces Day Southend - Party in the Town, is a fixed annual JUNE military event, held in SOUTHEND-on-SEA to celebrate our Armed Forces. A not-for-profit voluntary organisation, soon to become a registered Trust, has been created by an AF Veteran in conjunction with Southend Borough Council, local business and designated military charities.
The Bradwell-on-Sea Flower Show is a yearly event that takes place in August at the Village Hall. The event provides the opportunity for the community to show, Flower arranging, Cut Flowers, Vegetables, Cookery, Handicraft, Photography and Art in both children’s and adult’s classes. The playing field hosts the Companion Dog Show, stalls, music, refreshments and entertainment.

The Chelmsford German Circle has been in existence since September 1990. It meets on the first floor of the Moulsham Mill, Parkway Chelmsford at 8:00 p.m. on the third Thursday in the month.
