Barnston Village Hall is the community centre for Barnston Essex and surrounding area. We are run as a charity hall providing a space for community groups and others to socialize and get together. We have many groups who use the hall regularly and welcome new members.

Flitch Green Community Centre provides quality indoor sports, recreational and club facilities for the residents of Flitch Green and surrounding areas. The centre is proud to be the home of both the award winning Rumblebees Cheerleader Squad and Essex Choi Kwang Do, as well as numerous other evening activities.

The Great Clacton Residents Association was set up to represent the residents of the Tendring District Council wards of Bursville, St Johns and St Marys. Meetings are usually held at the Great Clacton Community Association hall in Valley Road.
