Essex Society for Family History
If you are researching family history then this organisation may be of interest to you. They will give advice on how to trace ancestors but are actively engaged on projects such as recording monumental inscriptions, indexing parish records etc so need your help too. The Society's Research Centre is based in the Essex Records Office building at Chelmsford.
