Channel sweeping will take place on Panfield's roads on the following dates:

Tuesday 12th January 2016

 Monday 16th May 2016

Monday 19th September 2016

Please try to ensure that your vehicle is not parked on the road on the above dates to enable the channel sweepers clear access.

You can regisgter your interest - and need for - superfast  broadband which is going to be rolled out across the rural areas of Essex.

Areas with the most residents registered will stand a greater chance of being selected as one of the first for upgrade.

Please encourage your firiends and neighbours in the area to register their interest: broadband speed in Panfield is woefully inadequate.

Pauline Peacey, Parish Footpaths Officer, is looking for more volunteers to help on the parish footpaths. Another person is needed to do some grass cutting.

The cutting season is from May to October and the work varies between volunteers to suit individual abilities.

A Strimming/Grass Cutting course is available; it is a day-long certified course run by the Parish Paths Partnership (P3).
