Marks Tey Parish Council needs YOU!
Essex County Council can provided Marks Tey Parish Council with bags of salt to help the community support itself during periods of heavy snow. The Parish Council will take up the offer if there are sufficient volunteers to make the scheme operable with the Parish
The salt is for use on the public highway only and is not for private driveways
We need volunteers to be responsible for clearing and salting areas of Marks Tey that are not on the gritting route to help everyone get out and about.

THERE IS A SHORT TIME SCALE FOR THE PARISH COUNCIL TO ENTER THIS SCHEME - APPLICATIONS MUST BE WITH ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL BY 22 JULY 2018 SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING INVOLVED PLEASE CONTACT THE PARISH CLERK URGENTLY
