Good Beginnings is the multi-agency Essex programme to support families who have a pre-school child with autism or social communication difficulties. Good Beginnings provides free advice, support and training by specialist staff to Essex parents and practitioners during the early years.
Harmonie is Rayleigh based windband which performs around ten concerts per years, many in aid of local charities. We have a wide repertoire with something to suit most tastes. If you play a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument why not join us! We rehearse on a Wednesday night and there are no auditions.
Maldon Museum exhibits items directly related to the District, whether they are domestic, industrial, natural or manufactured, discovered locally or collected from afar. We hold a vast archive of artefacts from Maldon’s history but there is not always enough room, so our displays are updated on a regular basis.

We raise funds for Charity Events by providing magic for charity fund raisers, a whole team of club members arrange
a complete night of magical entertainment inclusive of stage

The Neighbourhood & Home Watch Network, England & Wales (NHWN) is an umbrella body which represents all Home Watch and Neighbourhood Watch members across England and Wales. It is the officially-recognised body that engages with the Home Office, the Association of Chief Police Officers and other partners at a strategic level.
Havens Hospices provide respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care to youngsters and adults suffering life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. They also offer respite in an individual's own home. Support and advice is offered throughout their journey and the Hospices also run a Bereavement and Family Support Team.
The Rural Community Council of Essex (RCCE) is an independent charity helping people and communities throughout rural Essex build a sustainable future.
Shotgate Community Association is a registered charity that owns it's own hall which it hires out for private functions. It is also home to a variety of organisations who use it on a regular basis.
Education to members and the general public through monthly talks given by high calibre speakers on archaeological and historical subjects. Field trips and visits to archaeological sites and places of historical importance during the summer months. We also undertake archaeological and historical research, the results of which are published in our Transactions.
The Society takes an active interest in local affairs relating to natural history. It aims to further the study and conservation of the flora and fauna, particularly in South Essex, and to create an awareness of the importance of local wildlife.
