A registered charity producing weekly audio recordings for blind and partially sighted people within the Chelmsford area. We record a spoken version of the local paper each week – real people with real voices. We also record Minutes etc. for other charities for a small fee - which is reduced if they read it themselves. Downham is a small village located on the outskirts of Chelmsford in Essex. It has a church and a village hall and is part of the South Hanningfield Parish. The hall has various weekly activities taking place benefiting the local community and is also open to hire for parties, meetings, dances, weddings and other social occasions.

The Great Clacton Residents Association was set up to represent the residents of the Tendring District Council wards of Bursville, St Johns and St Marys. Meetings are usually held at the Great Clacton Community Association hall in Valley Road.

Marks Tey Parish Council includes of the villages of Marks Tey and Little Tey. Both are situated approximately six miles west of Colchester. The Council provides recreation facilities, including a children's playground, skateboard park, basketball court, football pitches and the Parish Hall complex. The Parish Hall is available for hire.

The SCOOT Club is an oganisation for Senior Citizens living in Essex. It is based in Tilbury and meets on the first Tuesday every month from 7.00 pm until 10.30 pm. We have Speakers, Singers, Brass Bands or other Entertainment for the first part of the evening followed by Social Dancing to music provided by our own Resident DJ.
Southend and District Pensioners Campaign is a membership organisation with close ties to the National Pensioners Convention and Age UK. It is dedicated to campaigning on local and national issues. Monthly meetings are held with a guest speaker and discussions.

Cornish Hall End is a small rural north Essex parish near the picturesque village of Finchingfield. We try to provide community support as well as spiritual. Annually we organise the charity Shoebox Appeal within the benefice and have held exhibitions, concerts and coffee mornings.
St Thomas Church is the parish church for Bradwell-on-Sea, providing Sunday services, Weddings, Baptisms, Christmas, Easter and other festival services. We also offer social support to the community, including the Thursday Group. We are the church for St Cedds School across the road; the school regularly use the church. The church also looks after the St Peters -on-the-Wall Chapel.
Sturmer Community Hub is a website for the village of Sturmer and surrounding area. We aim to provide information for the local community and signpost residents to the information they need. We hope to gain feedback on what the residents want on the website. The website has been provided as a result of the aims of the Sturmer Fayre Group.
