A proposal to transform Hadleigh town centre focusing on the island where the fire station and library are situated. This is an exciting and visionary project that will involve and include the whole community.
An initiative to raise awareness and enhance enjoyment of the rich and diverse heritage within an area of some 300 square miles of northwest Essex, northeast Hertfordshire and south Cambridgeshire, at the same time strengthening the protection of that heritage through a holistic approach.
WEA Ilford Branch is a lively branch offering five daytime and evening classes in Gants Hill for adults in Ilford and surrounding areas (including Essex), tutored by highly qualified and experienced tutors. The branch has an annual coach trip, study weekend and social events. All our venues are served by good transport links.
Marks Tey Parish Council includes of the villages of Marks Tey and Little Tey. Both are situated approximately six miles west of Colchester. The Council provides recreation facilities, including a children's playground, skateboard park, basketball court, football pitches and the Parish Hall complex. The Parish Hall is available for hire.
A lively approach to music for children aged 1-3.
Sessions are aimed at teaching children the basic concepts of music along with social skills using song with movement and percussion.

The North Essex Photography Workshop is based in the Tendring area of Essex.
The workshop consists of a group of keen amateur photographers of all ages and skill levels.

Priors Green Community Centre provides quality indoor sports, recreational and club facilities for the residents of Priors Green and surrounding areas. The centre currently has Jazzercise, Zumba, Badminton, Little Kickers, Free Football & Basketball, Rural Help and Great Canfield Carpet Bowls, alongside a growing list of other activities.
Re-formed Activities is a group providing a diverse programme of activities, around Harlow, for everyone over 50.
The scheme is not only about personal fitness, it's also about getting involved in a variety of activities and adopting healthier lifestyles. It also encourages people to make new friends whilst enjoying new activities.
Membership is open to everyone for a nominal fee.
Shotgate Community Association is a registered charity that owns it's own hall which it hires out for private functions. It is also home to a variety of organisations who use it on a regular basis.
Education to members and the general public through monthly talks given by high calibre speakers on archaeological and historical subjects. Field trips and visits to archaeological sites and places of historical importance during the summer months. We also undertake archaeological and historical research, the results of which are published in our Transactions.

Our centres of population are Stanford Rivers and Toot Hill, all within a very rural part of Essex. The Council meets every two months at the Toot Hill village Hall, normally at 1950 on the 2nd Thursday of "odd" months. All are welcome.
